Last night was an important deadline for many.
Blood, sweat and tears, brought many close–and some to success.
How did you fair?

Here’s a poll on TyCobbsTeeth’s Blog. It asks whether you got to 50K in NaNo. I thought it would be interesting to see how people did. That said, I want to reiterate that any work toward something you want to write is a PLUS. ❤

Congratulations on the win. It seems a lot of people struggle through much of the month, only to barely make it in the end. But regardless of whether you won or not, pat yourself on the back because you wrote something. No matter what you wrote or how crappy your first draft is, you’re automatically better than all those people who say they want to write a book sometime but never sit down and try.

Absolutely Healed. Thanks for the feedback. Now we have to try and put lipstick on the pig, with this first draft.
Who said you can’t polish a turd–am I right? 😉

This was a challenge that I really wanted to get in on but it will have to wait until next year. Too much on the go.
Thanks for the post!
…and congratulations.

For me, this was a fantastic experience. I blazed through the first few days and was on pace for a November 16th victory, but struggled mightily for about a week before getting back on track. If not for a very long Sunday at my computer, I would not have won.
I’m glad I took the challenge and feel I learned a lot from it.
Now it’s time to edit this pig.
Cheers!
