Nearing Completion

Today I sent out the last two copies of my manuscript to beta readers. I have a dozen that promised to feedback in short order. Now like an expectant father I wait.

What Lies Within
“There are four kinds of Homicide: felonious, excusable, justifiable, and praiseworthy.”
—Ambrose Bierce

A tortured past can shape a soul, that soul can shape the future.

The system failed Tyler McDermitt, now he and his brother have vowed to protect unfortunate youth from a similar fate—or at least make those responsible, pay.
The McDermitt brothers, victims of child abuse and molestation, escaped their hell and have decided to clean up after the failings of a flawed justice system. They have begun in their home town of Boston, but their designs are not limited to one city.
This is just the beginning.
The rough streets of Dorchester, in south Boston, have hardened two aspiring vigilantes and prepared them for a mission, a mission they feel is their duty, and their duty will not be easy.
One brother has a good heart, a conscience, and a burning compassion, which has burdened him with a deep sense of responsibility. That responsibility he first took for his brother, now he feels compelled to take on a grander level. The other brother is as hard as nails and as cold as ice. He is hell bent on revenge and aims to ensure the other stays the course.
There is a motivated young detective on their scent; she and her veteran partner look to foil McDermitt brother’s plan.
Something from the boys’ past, something dark, may also be closing in.

Please leaves your thoughts, because we all like to sift through each others thoughts--am I right? So c'mon--let's hav'em ;-)
