Facebook CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg has taken a page out Oprah Winfrey’s book and has launched his own Facebook Book Club. The club located on a Facebook page called “A Year of Books” and has already amassed almost 150,000 like in just a few days.
According to Zuckerberg’s posts, “My challenge for 2015 is to read a new book every other week — with an emphasis on learning about different cultures, beliefs, histories and technologies.”
The first book chosen by Zuckerberg is Moisés Naím’s “The End of Power: From Boardrooms to Battlefields and Churches to States, Why Being in Charge Isn’t What It Used to Be.” The Zuckerberg endorsement has sent the sales of the book through the roof with it going temporarily out-of-stock on Amazon.com. But never fear as digital copies never run out “The End of Power” is also available in e-book.
